David N. Cook, Ph.D., is a seasoned biotech executive with a distinguished 30-year career as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientific Officer at several companies, including Forma, Seres, Anza, Eligix, and Cerus. He has been an integral part of teams raising more than $1 billion, including a leading role in three successful IPOs and numerous follow-on investments, partnerships, and non-dilutive funding sources. He was also instrumental in orchestrating two corporate acquisitions (Forma and Eligix). David played a key role in the development and commercialization of five licensed products as well as the development of a late-stage clinical program focused on treating Sickle Cell Disease. David holds an A.B. from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
